Why did we create Playsir?
Libido and sexuality can be affected by external events.
We are committed to offering gentle, aesthetically pleasing alternatives to (re)explore intimacy comfortably and serenely.
Our expertise
We leverage our design expertise to offer objects that are functional, progressive, and above all, beautiful.
Since 2022, we have been researching and working with silicone to achieve optimal results.
Everything begins with an idea, a shape, adapted for the body as well as for decoration.
Then, we start prototyping, making the first molds, and once we are satisfied with the final result, we create the mold and the final silicone objects in our workshop.

Our approach doesn't stop at design; it goes far beyond to ensure your safety.
Standards for intimate objects
Intimate objects do not have specific guidelines, but they must comply with the General Product Safety Directive (Regulation (EU) 2023/988), which applies to all consumer goods placed on the European market:
- They must not pose any risk to consumer health and safety.
- The manufacturer is responsible for them.
Furthermore, "CE" marking is not mandatory for intimate objects; "ISO" type standards are only recommended.
Playsir's commitment
We firmly believe that objects in direct and potentially prolonged contact with mucous membranes must be safe.
That is why our silicone is certified, compliant with OECD TG 439.
It is non-porous, phthalate-free, & not tested on animals (compliant with UL-94 HB and B1 (GB 8624-2012)).
Our Production Framework
To guarantee the properties of our silicone, we impose a strict creation framework, using clean and disinfected tools.
Each item is carefully manufactured and cleaned before being shipped by post.
Down to the last detail
Fortunately, some standards have recently become established, notably:
- The international standard ISO 3533:2021 which sets design and safety criteria for sex toys (absence of sharp edges, safe shapes, etc.)
So the advice we give you is to carefully check the components of your (future) intimate objects

The Founder
I am Annabel Van Santen, and I founded Playsir, driven by a desire to reinvent pleasure objects.
As a survivor of sexual abuse, I wanted to design intimate objects for people whose relationship with sexuality has been affected by their experiences.
Decorative objects, with subtle, soft, and aesthetic appearances, designed to blend into the decor and inspire a renewed desire to explore one's intimacy.

Designed to stimulate multiple areas simultaneously, or for progressive exploration, thanks to its 3 usable crystals.
Krystal is as practical as it is decorative.
And Papyllon too
Papyllon is an external friction stimulation object, to be used solo or with a partner.
It can also be displayed as a pretty valet tray or a decorative element on a nightstand.
